Thanks to the generous space, you can take advantage of plenty of headroom and legroom on both the front and rear seats, and have plenty of space for yourself and your favourite things. The vehicle interior behind the front seats can be adapted to every situation thanks to the fold-down seats and the optional third row of seats. Options include using the full seating capacity for up to seven people on board, or folding down all seats to make use of the full load space capacity, or even having just some of the seats upright. Towing capacity and towing bracket

The Tiguan Allspace can tow up to 2.5 tonnes, for example a camping or horse trailer. The optional towing bracket is concealed under the rear and semi-automatically folds down when required at the press of a button. And since it isn’t always easy to manoeuvre with a trailer, the optional Trailer Assist manoeuvring system can help.

Clear shapes, high-quality decorative elements, spacious layout – in the Tiguan Allspace, you can not only see the space, but feel it, too. For example, when you settle into the comfort seats and take hold of the leather multifunction steering wheel. A glance at the cockpit suffices to see that the digital age has arrived. High-resolution displays and touch-sensitive surfaces dominate, such as the Air Care Climatronic air conditioning system. You no longer need to use your hands to change the radio station or enter a destination into the navigation system; thanks to the optional voice control you only need to say what you want.
Pleasant climate for everyone
Your passengers want it cooler, but you want it warmer? With three-zone temperature control, the temperatures on the driver’s side, passenger side and rear seats can be adjusted independently of each other. Thanks to intuitive touch operation, you conveniently control the standard Air Care Climatronic air conditioning system within your field of vision. The blower speed can be automatically reduced depending on the vehicle speed to lower the air conditioning volume. And the Air Care Climatronic air conditioning system can do even more: it has an enhanced air filter with allergen function that keeps pollen almost completely outside. In addition, it also reduces the penetration of nitrogen oxides, fine dust, viruses, bacteria and unpleasant odours, thereby improving the air quality. If you operate the windscreen cleaner or engage reverse gear, it automatically switches to air recirculation mode. This ensures a good all-round driving climate.

With the optional multi-coloured background lighting, you will see the Tiguan Allspace in a whole new light. You can choose from amongst 30 different colours to illuminate the interior with your favourite colour, and also create a cooler or warmer atmosphere. The optional ergoActive front seats not only look sophisticated, they can also be comfortably adjusted via electric controls and, thanks to the lumbar support, are particularly kind to your back. The driver can also look forward to an integrated massage function. Front seats with active air conditioning are also optionally available. This means the seats don’t just warm – but also cool. You will come to value this function particularly on hot summer days when it offers an exceptional level of seat comfort.
Load space volume and Easy Open & Close

When all of the seat rows in the Tiguan Allspace are folded down, the load space offers a volume of up to 1,920 litres in the 5-seater model and a total capacity of up to 1,775 litres in the optional 7-seater variant. Depending on which seats you fold down, you can vary the seating and load space volume to suit your requirements. A practical feature is that the outer seats can be folded down with just a single movement to make space for long objects. In addition, a small movement of the foot under the rear of the vehicle is sufficient to open the boot lid via the optional Easy Open & Close sensor.
